Mary Brock

Mary lives in Waltham and works as a researcher/developer for a biotech company. When she’s not checking out Amazon for Book Club ideas, she dabbles in cooking and crafting (and occasionally will blog about it). If you have any suggestions for Book Club, send them her way.

The above picture is Mary in her natural habitat: curled up in a giant blanket, sleepily watching a movie. (Also pictured: Josie the cat.)

Mary is an avid science-fiction enthusiast and enjoys Star Trek (TNG and also Voyager, don’t be a hater) and Invader Zim. When she’s not reading skeptic/scientific books, she enjoys dystopic future trilogies (Maze Runner, Hunger Games, Uglies) and mental_floss magazine (the magazine for knowledge junkies).

You can usually find her at Pub events with the rest of the crew, and she loves to meet new people, so don’t be shy—come up and introduce yourself!
